Crumpler is an unincorporated improve on North Carolina Highway 16 in Ashe County, North Carolina, United States.

It lies east of Warrensville, northeast of Jefferson, and north of Chestnut Hill, at an altitude of 2559 feet (780 m).

Crumpler was titled after Thomas Crumpler, its first postmaster. Pierce House, and Thompson's Bromine and Arsenic Springs are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. National Park Service (2010-07-09).
